I teach several undergraduate courses within the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology department.

I am also a Faculty in Residence at Emerging Media Lab and a Faculty Fellow at UBC Sustainability. My current research interests lie within the field of immersive learning technology where I lead several projects that aim to effectively visualize biochemical systems within an interactive 3D environment.

I am also interested in environmental science and environmental health where a molecular understanding can elucidate complex and often controversial global issues.

I love discussing science and interacting with students at all levels.
