Congratulations to Sarah Bowers!!! Sarah a BSc student in Biochemistry is awarded the prestigious designation of UBC Wesbrook Scholar and is recipient of the C.K. Choi Scholarship. Only 20 Wesbrook Scholar are given out to senior students with outstanding academic performance, leadership, and involvement in student and community activities. The winners are presented with a $1,000 scholarship and a certificate. The C.K. Choi Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship endowed by the Choi Family and is one of UBC’s Premier Undergraduate Awards. C.K. Choi recipients must have a good academic standing, demonstrate achievement in sports and participate in student and community activities. The C.K. Choi may be renewed for a second year provided the winner maintains scholarship standing.
